Broads with Rods 2007 From June 15 to 17, 2007 women from across Canada will gather once again at Pond’s Resort on the Miramichi River in New Brunswick, for the fourth annual Broads with Rods. With instruction for first-time and experienced anglers, the school includes dry land training and three sessions fishing on the river. Professional guides, gear, accommodations and food all included in the weekend price of $635. Transportation and taxes extra. Space in limited.

Pisciotta ..."the Dean of Guides in the Truckee Area."  In 1996, because of his expertise in fly angling & adeptness at instruction, he was encouraged by clients, friends & family to start the Reel School of Fly Fishing. is one of California's top, veteran, independent, fly fishing guides. A native Californian, he has pursued trout within the state for over 40-plus years, from the lakes & streams of urban Marin county to the 10,000 feet plus John Muir Wilderness for the state fish...the golden trout. After graduation from the University of San Francisco, 1968-69 "on-the-ground" service in Vietnam & six months touring Europe as a civilian he had a brief  two year stint in the corporate world. He then became involved in a family craft business on the north slope of San Francisco's Telegraph Hill.  He started fly fishing in the spring of 1970...he has done such, exclusively, since.
